Confirmation Sunday

 Lawson Joy was confirmed in the church Sunday.  We celebrated with an 

excellent lunch made by the husband...ham, green beans, butter beans, potato casserole, and homemade mac and cheese.  Yum!

Fairy Tale Ball

Phelps and Watkins attended the Fairy Tale Ball at Sudduth - a

kindergarten tradition.

Its seems like Phelps might have been a tad bit more excited than her brother. 

The bow tie might have done it for him, but I did let him win one battle.

There were many sweet princesses at the Ball.

That battle I mentioned he won, here it is.....

He assured me they were in style and perfect to wear to the dance.

 there were 9 cousins having a little dip in Daddio and Grandy's pond, with a little paddle 

boat riding too.

 trying to decide...is it too cold?? too hot??

then it was decided nope and nope. 

Just rIgHt!

The fun had began.

Jumping contests,

 with swimming, relaxing, laughing, and smiling

 UNTIL an unwanted guest and friend was spotted....

a SNAKE!  Yikes.

Easter Sunday bEsT.

 I really get all warm and fuzzy on the inside Easter weekend, I think maybe as much

as I do on Christmas morning.

I like traditions - I really do, and Easter in Prentiss with a crawfish boil, lots of cousins, pond swimming, golf cart riding, hiding eggs, the Easter bunny and time with our family is one tradition that is my favorite!

They just look so sweet and so grown up.  

Sigh........

 Watkins is not the most enthusiastic picture poser, but Phelps looks like

she is learning a few tricks.

 Dumas kiddos had a fun Easter Weekend dying eggs,

 hunting eggs, 

smiling with eggs,

 posing with eggs,

 

 playing with eggs,

and just thinking about eggs!

I wonder why this momma got not one picture of LJ with eggs??

better late than never.

Precious I do say!

My observation....LJ is so TALL!

Not to mention she does not match her siblings.

No way, was she going to wear the

outfit I chose. But you know I guess that is what happens when you are almost a teenager!

YIKES!

I know it seems the Dumas family may have just skipped Christmas, but

of course we didn't!  

The momma is just way behind on this blog, and really hoping to step it up.

• made the JV softball team and loving it
• getting along with her closet sister is most challenging as of late
• nike shorts and t-shirts is still her outfit of choice
• has learned to successfully clean the kitchen
• is an official youth group member 

Katherine

• loves her cricut and cowgirl boots she got from Santa
• has found a love for cheerleading (she has got the smile and facial expressions down to a "T")
• is still a planner, organizer, and don't get in her way
• getting along with her oldest sister is trying
• still playing the piano
• on cleaning the kitchen she gets an A+
• all A's so far in 5th grade 

Phelps

• loves her gymnastics class, YAY!
• plays babies, barbies, and school everyday
• misses her brother during the day
• is a "Go Fish" expert
• just got a new kindergarten teacher 

Watkins

• loves his weekends
• could definitely win a dance compition
• never know what is going to come out of his mouth
• tries to beat his sister in "Go Fish" everyday
• is just so sweet to his twin sister, taking care of her all the time

- Watkins cried the whole picture session.

- Phelps had some major eye infection going on during this picture session.

-Tracy (the photographer) is an amazing photo fixer obviously.

- She probably is questioning my mothering skills after that session.

- I LOVE this picture and the many others I have seen and I haven't seen all of them yet!

Football season always means lots of cousin fun.

They LoVe the pallet parties with tons of giggles, and this morning I suffered through a NO hot water shower.  BUT, yes people we made it to the tailgate by 9 with all these girl Dumas cousins in tow!
